Rosaiah should be impartial: E. Rajender
TRS MLA Mr. E. Rajender accused the Chief Minister Mr. K. Rosaiah of siding with the United Andhra camp over the Telangana issue. Speaking to reporters in Karimnagar on Saturday, the TRS leader termed the Chief Minister’s decision to take action against Telangana congress leader Komatireddy Venkata Reddy as ‘partial’ citing lack of any charges on leaders like Lagadapati Rajagopal and JC Diwakar Reddy even though they spearheaded the United Andhra movement much to the ire of the Congress’ central leadership. The Chief Minister should treat people hailing from all regions equally and not take sides, added Mr. Rajender. Incidentally, the Chief Minister has earlier declared that he would continue to stay in Hyderabad even after the bifurcation of the state, if it happens. Mr. Rajender also informed that Sunday’s rally by students of Osmania University will have the full support of his party. Meanwhile, Additional Director General of Police Mr. AK Khan stated that the students’ rally doesn’t have the required permissions and strict action would be taken if the students go ahead with their plans.
