CM to face the ire of Congress’ T-leaders
The decision by the congress’ central leadership to invite Chief Minister Mr. K. Rosaiah for the scheduled all party meet on January 5 is drawing widespread criticism from the party’s leaders hailing from the Telangana region. ‘I don’t see any logic behind the administrative head of a state being invited to a meeting concerned with the consensus of political parties. In that case PCC chief Mr. D. Srinivas too should be invited to take part in the meeting’, said former minister Mr. Damodar Reddy. Senior leader Mr. K. Kesava Rao too hit out against the chief minister for failing to abate accusations that the state is currently being run by the governor.‘I don’t see any constitutional crisis in the state as of now but there sure are signs of it’, said Mr. Rao. Meanwhile several leaders from the region including former Home Minister Mr. Jana Reddy have decided to fly to Delhi a couple of days before the January 5 all party meet to hold discussions over the issue with senior party leaders.
