Pro active Governor LNO
The new Governor of Andhra Pradesh E S L Narasimhan has taken an active role in curbing the uncontrolled law and order problem in the state due to the Telangana and Samaikhya Andhra agitations. Many Telangana leaders including K Chandrasekhara Rao, Vijayashanti, D Srinivas, K R Suresh Reddy and many others who had met Narasimhan after he had taken charge as the Governer held the feeling that he would be a part of the problem than be a solution. Many politicians in the Rosaiah camp were muffed about the pro active role of the new governor despite the presence of a Chief Minister and his Ministers of the Cabinet. According to sources Narasimhan also the Chancellor of Osmania University had called the Vice Chancellor of the University and asked him who he was for not allowing the police onto the OU campus. When a few political leaders informed the Governor that it was the police who had levelled false cases against the students and that the students were peaceful in their agitation, the Governor was not happy with such a response. Many people think the former Intelligence Bureau chief was sent to Andhra Pradesh on a mission by the Central government and he was fulfilling his mission.
