Iran starts accusing Pak of harbouring terrorists
A day after a suicide attack that killed 42 people in Iran, including top officials of its
Revolutionary Guard, it has demanded Pakistan
to arrest the leaders Iran
says is responsible for the attack and set a timeframe for such an action. The
attack had taken place in the Sistan-Baluchestan province and the Jundallah
outfit had taken the responsibility of the attack. Iran
alleged that the group is being trained by US and British Intelligence agencies
in Pakistan’s
bases. “Iran and Pakistan have a brotherly relationship but the
presence of terrorist elements in Pakistan
is not justifiable,” Iran’s
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad had told his Pakistani couterpart Asif Ali
Zardari when the latter had called on him to condemn the Sunday’s attacks.
