Nalini reappointed
Angered police officer,
who had resigned in the heat of the movement in the course of the demand for a separate
state, has a Women’s day gift coming her way.
Chief Minister K. Rosaiah has decided to reinstate the police officer and
treat the chapter of resignation as closed. In her revised view of life and
matters the lady police officer is believed to have addressed a letter stating
that she required the job to bring up her children. She had resigned from her
post on December 9 2009 and in her
resignation to the DGP said that she could not work for a government that had
not respected the sentiments of 3.5 crore Telangana people. She had completed a
six month probation after being a direct recruit at Hasanaparthy and
Hanumakonda police stations. She was appointed as the DSP of Medak in September
2009.
