Boy found dead
The body of a three year old boy was found near the Melbourne Airport in Australia on Friday. The boy was identified as Gurshan Singh Channa. The body of the toddler was found about 20kms away from his home. According to the police, they had launched a manhunt to trace the boy after they had received a complaint from the boy’s parents that the boy had gone missing from home. The police said it had found Gurshan’s body on Wildwood Road, Oaklands Junction near the airport after they had begun the search for the missing kid. A team of homicide detectives of the Victoria Police are searching for clues that could help them nab the culprit or culprits. The boy, along with his family was on a vacation and the family was due to return to India later in the week. According to the authorities, Harpreet Kaur, Gurshan’s mother who was studying in Australia called the police and informed them that her son was missing for the past 45 minutes. After receiving the phone call, the police started a manhunt. They were to return to India as the boy’s father failed to get a job. According to Detective Inspector Steve Clark said the autopsy was performed but the reports were inconclusive. The police sought public help and information if anyone had seen the body being dumped at the Oaklands Junction.
