Security guaranteed for IPL 3
          The Central government had guaranteed security for Indian Premier League 3 beginning form March 12. Earlier, Shiv Sena had warned Australian players not to play in Maharashtra until racist attacks stopped in Australia. With a T 20 match between the Hyderabad Ranji team and the Andhra Ranji team during the Deccan T20 tournament by activists demanding a separate Telangana, the inauguration of the famous league was shifted from Hyderabad. According to sources, the Union Home Ministry is in constant touch with the organisers of the league. The Deccan Chargers team were advised by the Andhra Pradesh State Government not to participate in the IPL 3 if the inauguration was not shifted back to Hyderabad. The team management is expected to announce their decision after Lalit Modi – the Commissioner of Indian Premier League and Sharad Pawar – BCCI Chief return to the country.
